Many Chinese CNC machines are cheap and you get what you pay for. However, there are ways to upgrade your cheap machine if you are willing to do a little bit of work. Change out the 3040 CNC router to use a USB instead of a parallel port with the TinyG motion controller. This significantly upgrades the machine with current technology rather than depending on older, outdated parallel ports.
